Recently sent me this e-mail:

"My friend Joey just recently died of a heroin overdose. He had everything in the world going for him: handsome guy, really kindhearted to everybody, popular at school, smart, athletic...The whole town is grieving. Dead at fifteen...that's no way to go. No one deserves to die like that.

So, the point of this note...I'm asking you to perhaps make a tribute for him, you being the great artist you are. He deserves something special. And I want to get the message out there to tell everyone to stay away from drugs. Is there anything you can/would do? I'd really appreciate it, and so would several of my classmates. Joey died far too young, and I want to make sure no one else ends up like him.

Of course, I could not deny a request with such good intentions. I came up with this, an interpretation of Joey if he were a canine. Everyone, in memory of Joey, please stay away from nonprescription drugs and other dangers. Losing life at 15 is tragic.
